Happy Fathers Day!

Happy Fathers Day! We would like to wish a very Happy Fathers Day to Brandon, Marshall and (in remembrance) to Kay as well. We couldn't have asked for better men in our life’s and wouldn't be the same without you. We love you all.

For Fathers Day we started the day off by waking Brandon up in bed with a hand made card the kids made and he also got a gift (the gift wasn’t hand made). Then we had breakfast and got ready for the day. We ended up going to the park. We had lunch there and then the kids had a ton of fun playing. Then we came home and had fun goofing off and playing silly games for the rest of the evening (which we had to eventually stop because our goofing off got a little out of control and I ended up getting a fat lip from Avery... : ). We had a great day just hanging out as a family. We are so thankful for Brandon and all he is and does for our family. Happy Fathers Day Brandon!

Shara's Birthday

I had a great birthday with my family. Me and the kiddos went to a movie while Brandon was at work. When Brandon got home we went out to dinner and then came home and had GF cake and icecream. Then Brandon suprised me with a gift. He had a real vintage piece made for me. I love it. It is just my style. All and all I had a great day and I'm another year older. I can't complain to much... life it pretty decent to me. Thanks to everyone for all of the birthday wishes. I love you all : ). Here are the pictures from my birthday day.

Getting ready for birthday dinner.

Willow Tree

Playing under a Willow Tree
Written By: Shara Cherry

Oh Willow Tree,
Like a mothers arm your branches surround.
Two children of mine I have found.

Two children I do see.
So happy they must be.
Laughing, playing, happily underneath a willow tree.

Round and round the children dance.
Their tiny bare feet skip and prance.

Whispers and giggles is what I hear.
I can only guess what is imagined there.

Two children I do see.
So happy they must be.
Laughing, playing, happily underneath a willow tree.

These are some pictures I took of the kids playing under the Willow Tree in our front yard. They were having a ton of fun and it brought back memories of me and the Willow Trees I played in when I was little.

Oh, and yes, Avery is wearing a pink skirt under her long coat even though it doesn't really look like it.

Camping Memorial Day Weekend

We went camping this last weekend and for Memorial Day. We sure had a hard time getting started. We started early in the afternoon and got everything ready to go and then went to go buy groceries a new tent and anything else that we needed for camping. After we got home we decided that we should probably go look around to make sure that there was a place to camp. We didn’t take anything with us because we weren’t fully ready yet and wanted to make sure we could find a place to camp first. So we drove around for a while until we found a place at the Wolf Creek Campground south of Prescott. Then we went back home to get our things and then we headed out to go camping. When we got to the camp ground it was almost dark (not to mention that it started raining but luckily stopped after 15 minutes). We started getting things out and then started putting the tent up and guess what? The tent we bought had no poles and as you know there isn’t no putting up a tent without poles... sooooo we packed everything up and we were determined that we were still going to go camping because of the full day that we had already had put into getting everything ready and prepared to going camping. So we headed to Walmart where we had bought the tent and returned it for a different one. Know you would think that this would be about the end of the story but not quite yet. So as we are heading back to the campground now after dark... guess what happens? We get pulled over by a cop. We weren’t planning on being out at dark and the trailer that we where pulling with our quads on it had no lights so a cop gets behind us and pulls us over. Luckily after a few minutes we just got an order to fix the lights and where able to be on our way. Finally we made it back to the campground well after dark and put up our tent, got the kids ready for bed (which the kids had already been sleeping in the car for quite a while by this point) and went to sleep. Some may have just given up and probably thought there must be a reason why we were having such a hard time but I guess we were all bound and determined stubborn crazies. All and all the rest of our weekend of camping, riding quads, hiking and hanging out was nice and relaxing... and I would say it was all worth it and full of great memories.

O, one more thing check out the picture of Aiden in the backpack on Brandons back. We went for a hike and Aiden fell asleep half way through the hike. He was a tired little guy.

Too Much Fun!

We have been riding quads almost every weekend now that the weather is so nice. We had a great time riding quads this last weekend. Brandon was having fun being a goof and jumping the little hills in the back yard. We all got a good kick out of it and I caught a couple good pictures of his jumps. It was nice to watch him have a good time. Soooo here's the pictures...

She Can Ride

Avery has learned to ride her quad all by herself the last few weeks. This was about her fourth time on her own. She is having a lot of fun with it and it is fun to watch her. I can't believe how big she is getting. You go girl : ).

Happy Mothers Day!

Happy Mothers Day to all mothers out there! Especially Grandma Brewer and Nana Cherry... We Love You!
