Easter Day

Here is some pictures of the kids that I took on Easter day. We had a great day as a family. We went out to lunch at Chili's, had dessert at Basking Robins and the went and saw the movie Monsters VS Aliens. Also the kids enjoyed coloring Easter eggs, opening their Easter baskets and doing an Easter egg hunt here at the house. It was a nice relaxing day and we where super happy to have Brandon here all day and all to ourselves. We hope everyone had a great Easter. Happy Easter!

I think Avery asked me to color Easter eggs a million times before we actually did it.

We went to the Chino Valley Library today for their Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The kids had lots of fun racing around for the eggs...well I should say Avery raced around for eggs while Aiden once having an egg was determined to find out how to open it. They had lots of fun. I love spring and we are having some really nice weather today so it made it even all the better. Anyways, here are the Easter egg hunt pictures. Avery with her Easter eggs.

This was Avery's fastest year. She new just what to do and didn't need my help which was nice because it let me help Aiden.

Here are some pictures of Aiden from the other day. He loves the dishwasher. He seems to always know when it is open. He will climb up on it and play with anything fun he can find. I had to post some cute pictures from when I caught him sitting on the door.

Sunday I got Avery all ready to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. She was all excited which I was surprised because she usually doesn't like characters such as the Easter Bunny but of course once we got there what happens... she doesn't want nothing to do with it. Anyways, so luckily I took some really cute pictures of her all done up before we went... so here they are.

After almost a week of fighting off the stomach flu my kids and I are finally starting to feel better. It was really nice to see smiles and play in our house again yesterday and today. Here are a couple of picture of the kids.

Aidens first steps.

We caught video of Aiden on Sunday taking some of his first steps and we wanted to share it with you all. It is funny how kids can be so different...Avery had started walking by 9 1/2 months...Aiden is taking his time at 13 1/2 months and is such a mellow kid (which we don't mind). Anyways, he is finally showing some interest in walking and all the sudden he took to it. We hope he keeps it up and will be a mover and groover by summer. Good job Aiden! We love you.

After all of the attention Aiden got from learning to walk he was in a show off mood...so I had to add this funny video if him spinning around on the floor...notice how he is getting dizzy...before I took this video he had already been spinning around for 5 minutes so he was getting really dizzy...pretty cute and funny.

I love spring. The flowers have started blooming on the trees and nature is starting to come back to life here in Prescott. Today was so beautiful. We are having some of our first high temp...around 75...spoiled aren't we. During Aidens nap Avery and I played outside and did a little bit of exploring. I had to take a couple of pictures of course because she is just too cute.
