OUCH!!! Aiden Surgery

Aiden had his surgery this last Wednesday. Everything went really well. The surgery was quick (about 30 minutes from when the doctors took him back to surgery and we saw him in the recovery room) and he had no problems. He was also able to wake up easy and didn't cry even when they took his IV out so that was nice for us parents. He is a tough little booger. We are so glad that is over and done with. When we got home I don't think he really new what happened to him apart from being really tired and a little out of it for a while he really didn't act any different. He was walking around laughing and smiling at us. He hasn't even tried to rub or pick at it so we haven't had a problem with his stitches... at least not yet. We didn't remember to take the camera in the hospital (which I wish I could have got a picture of him in the little hospital gown he was wearing because he looked so cute considering the circumstance) so here are some pictures from when we got home. Oh and before I forget thank you for everyones prayers and support.

Craft it Forward

My sister had this Craft it Foward on her blog and I decided to participate. It sounds like fun and it will give me the motivation to do crafty things for people I love.

So, here's how this game works-the first 3 people to leave a comment on this post will receive, at some point during the year, a handmade gift from me. What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise! The catch is that you must participate as well. Before you leave your comment, write up a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going (or be lazy and copy and paste like I did). Then come back, let me know you're going to play and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift! Well isn't this fun?

Shoe Laces

Avery learned to tie her shoes this last Sunday. I couldn’t believe how quick she learned to do it. I took her less than 30 minutes to figure it out. She seems to be soaking up so much lately. We are so proud of her. Good job Avery!

Visiting Daddy at Work

We have been going to visit Brandon at work at least once every week. The kids love to go visit daddy at work. They have lots of fun climbing on rocks and the large dirt piles. Aiden also enjoys getting in the machinery with daddy. He seems to be very mechanical and enjoys watching daddy work. He screamed when Brandon took him out of the tractor. I think he could have stayed in there all day with Brandon. He is definitely just like his daddy.

Easter Day

Here is some pictures of the kids that I took on Easter day. We had a great day as a family. We went out to lunch at Chili's, had dessert at Basking Robins and the went and saw the movie Monsters VS Aliens. Also the kids enjoyed coloring Easter eggs, opening their Easter baskets and doing an Easter egg hunt here at the house. It was a nice relaxing day and we where super happy to have Brandon here all day and all to ourselves. We hope everyone had a great Easter. Happy Easter!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Well... Aiden just watched the coloring of Easter eggs while he enjoyed some fresh pineapple.
I think Avery asked me to color Easter eggs a million times before we actually did it.

Lot of Picures...Enjoy!

We went to the Chino Valley Library today for their Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The kids had lots of fun racing around for the eggs...well I should say Avery raced around for eggs while Aiden once having an egg was determined to find out how to open it. They had lots of fun. I love spring and we are having some really nice weather today so it made it even all the better. Anyways, here are the Easter egg hunt pictures. Avery with her Easter eggs.
This was Avery's fastest year. She new just what to do and didn't need my help which was nice because it let me help Aiden.
Aiden gets his first egg open and finds a bouncy ball.
Aiden watching all of the other kids zoom by.
Got another open :).
What else is in here?
Aiden back in the library checking out his loot and finds that there is candy in some of his eggs.
Yes we had the incident where he ate the chocolate with the foil on it but sis and I showed him it is much better without it.
Avery and Aiden eating their loot.
Avery emptied out her eggs in about one second.
Checking out what she got.
Showing mommy what she got.She really had fun even though now that I look at the pictures she had no smile... Oh well :).

Here are some pictures of Aiden from the other day. He loves the dishwasher. He seems to always know when it is open. He will climb up on it and play with anything fun he can find. I had to post some cute pictures from when I caught him sitting on the door.
Am I in trouble?
This is fun.
Having fun banging on dishes...like the rock star he is.

Sunday I got Avery all ready to take pictures with the Easter Bunny. She was all excited which I was surprised because she usually doesn't like characters such as the Easter Bunny but of course once we got there what happens... she doesn't want nothing to do with it. Anyways, so luckily I took some really cute pictures of her all done up before we went... so here they are.
